A youthful watch maker by the name of Georges-Emile Eberhard opened a Eberhard watch making shop in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1887. Eberhard & Co. turned into a family run business when Georges-Emiles sons followed the same footsteps their father walked.
In 1919, Eberhard Watch Co released its first wrist watch with a chronograph. 5 years after that, the watch firm began selling a chronograph wrist watch with 2 push buttons, then in 1939 Eberhard released the new chronograph Eberhard Rattrapante watch.
