Rado does not sell any watches on the internet. Genuine Rado watches are sold exclusively through Rado''s worldwide network of authorized dealers. Internet users are adbised that products sold on the internet and identified as a Rado product may, in fact, be counterfeit, second hand or have been damaged through removal of their serial numbers and such products are not covered by Rado''s warranty. Rado advises interested buyers that they only ensure full warranty when your watch is purchased through their authorized dealers. Each warranty issued must be properly stamped with the dealer''s name and show the date of purchase. The company advises purchasers that if you choose to purchase a Rado from any other source other than a dealer you do so at your own risk and you will not obtain a certificate of authenticity. Rado crystals are made of sapphires and watch faces are scratch resistant but can be marred by marble, diamonds and concrete. Also when in need of a new battery the watch should be sent to a Rado service Center. They do a water test there to be sure the seal is made perfect after a new battery is added.
